Folks

Since the floods in the north of our state St Oswald's has been supporting the Diocese of Bendigo to provide resources for communities including Aboriginal communities through donations of non-perishables such as clothing, blankets, etc. This week we sent a load of fruit and vegetables to the Rev'd Shannon Smith who will deliver them to families still recovering from the devastation.

We will be doing this until there is no more need. If you would like to assist please contact St Oswald's through our website https://www.stoswaldsgleniris.net.au/

A little hint, it’s not Cyril who has to do the reconciling. He did nothing wrong.
This is the problem with the myth of reconciliation - it is expected we do the work, not those responsible for the continuing racism.
As the PM said, “we have apologised, it’s up to you to forgive” (paraphrased).
No, it’s not. Do the hard work and we will join you on your path to reconciliation with yourself and with us. Not the other way around.

Hawthorn coach Sam Mitchell has told club staff that estranged former star Cyril Rioli will need to be given time to reconcile with the Hawks.
