Alpha is an impacting course all about life, faith and meaning. It unpacks a lot of questions you might have about God, Christianity and more. Whether you are new to all these topics, want to understand the foundations of Christianity again, or you want to connect with others on a similar journey as you - THERE IS A SEAT AT THE TABLE FOR YOU AND A FRIEND!

On Saturday, 13 June 2026, we had the joy of celebrating 55 years of this church impacting lives for God’s Kingdom. We were blessed by the many testimonies of God’s grace, His leading, His perfect timing, His impact, and His favour across the decades.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in this celebration—from those who served faithfully in the early years, through to the congregation who are part of our church family today, and to those who have supported this church along the way. It was a powerful time of praise and worship as we gathered in unity, honouring all God has done and continues to do through His church.

Thank you to the many volunteers who made this occasion possible. We deeply value you.

We look forward with expectation to the future God is leading Port City Christian Church into.

Dear Church Family and Members,

Port City Christian Church has reached 55 years of God’s faithfulness, grace, and love. For over five decades, our church has been a place of worship, spiritual growth, service and community. 

Our church was first called the ‘Assemblies of God’ (AOG) Church. The name was then changed to ‘Gladstone Christian Family Centre’ before becoming our current name, ‘Port City Christian Church’.

We gratefully acknowledge the pastors, staff, volunteers, members and community who throughout these years have served as God’s hand and feet through the ministry of this church.

We would love for you to join us for a meaningful celebration as we give honour to our past, rejoice in the present, and look forward with hope to the future God has prepared.

What a blessing to see what God is doing in Papua New Guinea!

Through the generosity and missions giving of our church, we have been able to support a church community in the village of Gaire.

Pastor Kindsford and his wife Lucy are faithful people who love leading others to Jesus. It is encouraging to see the impact they are making in their community.

We are excited to share, for the very first time their church now has solid walls. This is a wonderful testimony of God’s faithfulness and the impact of missions.

Thank you church family for your prayers, generosity, and support. Please continue praying for Pastor Kindsford, Lucy, and their church in PNG.
