Tonight we gave thanks for a delivery of Backpack Beds and blankets from The Rotary Club Of South Gladstone.

These Aussie made swag backpacks are easy to use and pack up, and the blankets are snuggly warm. 🤗 We'll share them with diners we meet who are sleeping outside.

It was also Pizza Night at Ray's thanks to our friends at Domino’s Pizza Gladstone & Tannum Sands. 🍕

Praise God for our generous community!

Don’t forget tomorrow is an extra special Sunday - we have a combined service AND special guests!

We’ll gather as one church family at 9:00am at St Peter’s. We’ll also welcome Mike and Sandra Uptin from Bush Church Aid (BCA).

Mike will preach on Romans 3:21-31, and share more about the ministry of BCA. We are so thankful to BCA for their support of our church to go the distance to make Jesus known in Gladstone and beyond.

With great preaching, music, kids church and morning tea, it’s sure to be a wonderful time together.

Ray's Soup Kitchen is on tonight (Monday 10 August), despite the show holiday. 🍲

6PM at 70 Auckland, Gladstone for a hearty soup, savoury mince, and delicious dessert. 🍲

With our regular servers taking some well deserved time to rest and recover, our Friday Men's Bible study stepped up this morning to prepare dinner. 🍲

❤️It's been a week since their visit, but our hearts are still full of gratitude for Colin 'the Donut man' Watters and wife Pam from our Bush Church Aid mission partners Dalby Anglican Church. 🍩

❤️On Saturday they cooked donuts for Shed Sale which had welcomed heaps of visitors. 🍩

❤️On Sunday they cooked donuts for our combined service at St Saviour's and encouraged our whole church. 🍩

❤️On Monday they cooked donuts for Ray's Soup Kitchen bringing donut joy to hundreds of happy Gladstone folk. 🍩

❤️The weekend was a great reminder of our mission and unity in Christ and how our lives, like a donut, will have a hole in them until we receive the wholeness found in Jesus. 🍩

❤️A big thank you must go to the Fortier family for hosting our friends, and once again to Colin and Pam for sharing your donut fried joy with us! 🍩
