Dear all,

Would you consider signing the open letter calling on the Albanese Government to urgently pass the Human Rights (Children Born Alive Protection) Bill 2026.

By adding your name, you’re standing for a simple principle: every Australian newborn deserves equal protection under the law.

Right now, there is no consistent approach across Australia to protecting babies who are born alive following an abortion. This Bill would help ensure that every newborn receives medically appropriate care, regardless of the circumstances of their birth.

The more Australians who add their voice, the harder it becomes for our political leaders to ignore this issue.

A reminder that tonight at 7pm in St Joseph's room at Good Shepherd, there will be a Safeguarding Training Session.
If you volunteer in any capacity in our parish and haven't yet completed the training please attend tonight's session .

Alternatively go to www.melbournecatholic.org/safeguarding to complete your training online.

This training is compulsory every 3 years for all volunteers in all capacities.
