On Saturday we were also blessed to have Ps Joel share with us about recommitting to the Great Commission; being in a season of preparation; empowering and releasing younger leaders; guarding against institutional stagnation and developing a practical discipleship pathway that helps people grow in faith and ministry.

We are excited about where the Lord is leading us, and about the faith and expectation that is rising among us.

Over these past six years, we believe the Lord has been leading us through a season of restoring, rebuilding and repositioning. Now, we sense that we are stepping into a new season where He is inviting us to enlarge our tent with fresh vision and apostolic leadership.

“Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes.”
— Isaiah 54:2

What a powerful picture this is for us as a church. We believe God is preparing us for greater capacity, greater influence and greater impact as we continue to reach people with the good news of Jesus, build community and raise disciples.

What a blessed and anointed time of ministry we received this morning around the word from Acts 2:16-18

16 But this is what was uttered through the prophet Joel: 17 “ ‘And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh,and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams; 18 even on my male servants and female servants in those days I will pour out my Spirit, and they shall prophesy.
