Guest Speaker This Sunday | Peter Hanrahan

We’re delighted to welcome Peter as our guest speaker this Sunday at Living Word Church.

Born in Fremantle 70 years ago (GO DOCKERS! 💜⚓), Peter was brought up in the Catholic tradition before stepping away from church and faith for 12 years.

In his 30s, Peter and his wife Beverley were born again in Geraldton at Lighthouse Church, where they continue to fellowship today.

A secondary school teacher, Peter has recently retired from his role as Area Chaplain Manager, where he oversaw school chaplains throughout the Midwest.

Now, as Peter and Beverley step into retirement, they’re expectantly awaiting God’s next direction for their lives.

Peter loves Jesus and His Word, and we look forward to hearing what he has to share with us.

Guest Speaker This Sunday | Tony Moala

We’re looking forward to welcoming Tony Moala as our guest speaker on Sunday.

Tony is the Seventh Day Adventist Minister for the Midwest region and has been pastoring for over 20 years.

He enjoys pastoral care, and with the Holy Spirit leading and empowering him, seeks to lift Jesus high.

Tony is part of the Geraldton Street Chaplaincy group, who purposely go out on Saturday evenings to ensure the safety of all partygoers as well as seeking opportunities to share Jesus with them.

We look forward to hearing from Tony this Sunday morning and invite you to join us.

This Sunday, we're looking forward to welcoming Eric Behiels as our guest speaker at Living Word Church.

Eric is a long time Geraldton local, who was educated at St Patricks College, but turned away from his religious upbringing at a young age. Eric completed his apprenticeship as a carpenter, and in 1981 had a radical conversion to Christ. He then trained to become a Pastor, and pastored in three different churches before becoming the school chaplain at Geraldton Senior High School, Beachlands Primary School, and Yuna Primary School.

Now retired, Eric lives in Geraldton with his wife of 43 years, Rosalie, and they are blessed with three children and eight grandchildren.

Whether you're part of our church community or visiting for the first time, we'd love you to join us as Eric shares his message this Sunday.

Recently, Chris shared some incredible news with our church family – he has been given the all-clear from melanoma.
We are so grateful for God's faithfulness, for answered prayer, and for everyone who has stood alongside Chris and Celia throughout this journey.

There’s something special about seeing people take a step of faith and publicly share their story.

Recently, we gathered at the beach for water baptisms - a meaningful moment for those choosing to move forward in their faith, surrounded by encouragement and support.

Moments like these are a reminder that our church is about real people, real journeys and real life change.
