What a powerful morning at church today! 🙌
A huge thank you to Terry from Redemption Hills for joining us once again. As always, Terry was warmly received and brought a timely, encouraging word that truly blessed our whole church family.
The highlight was gathering together at the altar—taking time to pray over the sick, believe for breakthroughs, and lift up the needs across our congregation. It was a moving reminder of the power of prayer and community.

"You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." — Acts 1:8 🌍✨

In Acts 1, Jesus reinforces the Great Commission, calling His disciples to carry the Gospel to the ends of the earth. But before sending them out, He gave one crucial command: wait for the power of the Holy Spirit.

Before any sermon was preached or any nation reached, the disciples gathered in unity and devoted themselves to constant prayer. The mission was massive, but the power came from God.

Ever felt completely unqualified for what God is asking you to do?
When God called Jeremiah to be a prophet to the nations, Jeremiah’s first reaction was pure hesitation:
“Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, I do not know how to speak, for I am only a youth.” (Jeremiah 1:6 ESV)

Jeremiah looked at his age, his lack of eloquence, and his inexperience. But God didn’t consult Jeremiah’s resume before calling him.
Look at what God tells him:
Known before birth: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you...” (v. 5)
Equipped by His Word: “Behold, I have put my words in your mouth.” (v. 9)
Strengthened for the battle: God promised to make him “a fortified city, an iron pillar, and bronze walls” against opposition. (v. 18)
God never promised Jeremiah an easy road—Jeremiah would face rejection, imprisonment, and immense grief. But God did promise His presence: “Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you to deliver you.” (v. 😎
Whatever season or challenge you’re facing today: God does not call the equipped; He equips the called. Your limitations do not surprise Him, and His strength is made perfect in your weakness.
