By God’s grace, the bank loan has been approved, the land acquisition is progressing, and St Moses Church has successfully paid the 10% deposit of $185,000.

This is a significant step towards establishing a permanent church home for our congregation and future generations.

✨ Blessed Feast of the Ascension of Christ ✨

Dear beloved congregation,

St. Moses Coptic Orthodox Church in Geelong wishes you all a blessed Feast of the Ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ.

May the Lord grant us the strength to overcome every challenge and the grace to receive the glory of His Kingdom.

“To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.”
Revelation 3:21

By the grace of Christ, and as announced around two weeks ago, St. Moses Church in Geelong is seeking to purchase land in the city of Geelong to build a permanent church and service building, instead of continuing to hire a place.

With the blessing of His Grace Bishop Anba Roweiss and the approval of the financial committee, we are now in the final stage: awaiting the bank’s approval for the purchase loan.

Once the loan is approved, a payment of **$185,000** will be required by **29 May**. We have requested a two-week extension.

We humbly ask for your prayers and support during this important step. This land will serve not only the Coptic community in Geelong, but also the wider Coptic community across the Melbourne Diocese.
