Today is a special milestone for The Salvation Army Northside Geelong Church and Community Centre as we launch our very first Nutritional Food Market at the Salvos Store in Lara.
10.30am - 11.30am Weekly on Thursdays.

Today marks the beginning of Street Side Medics in Geelong.

This clinic has been made possible through the extraordinary generosity of Lila and her late son, Danny.

After seeing Street Side Medics on A Current Affair, Danny became a passionate supporter of our work. A quiet and generous man from Geelong, he requested in his will that part of his life’s work go towards bringing a medical van to regional Victoria.

When Danny sadly passed away in March 2025, Lila was determined to honour his final wish.

Today, because of them, we are proud to begin caring for vulnerable people across Geelong. We are deeply honoured to carry Danny’s legacy forward through this new clinic.
