📖 Mystery Made Known
Our Term 3 series in Ephesians

This term we're exploring Paul's letter to the Ephesians—a letter overflowing with the good news of God's grace and God's eternal purposes for his people.

⛪ Remembering the Storm. Celebrating God's Faithfulness.

Last Sunday, our church family gathered to mark 100 years since the 1926 tornado that destroyed our original church building.

It was a joyful morning as we remembered God's faithfulness across the past century, gave thanks for the resilience and generosity of those who rebuilt, and celebrated the work that God continues to do amongst us today.

We were honoured to welcome Archbishop Ric Thorpe as our guest preacher, and enjoyed celebrating together over morning tea after the service.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special milestone in the life of St John's.

🙏 Pause to Pray for the Persecuted Church

We're inviting all who are willing to join us this Sunday as we pause to pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ around the world.

Together we'll spend time bringing them before God in prayer and asking him to strengthen and sustain them as they faithfully follow Jesus.

Term 3 Youth Group kicks off this Friday!

This term at St John's Youth, we'll be exploring how Jesus turns our expectations upside down through Luke's Gospel.

In a world that celebrates power, success and status, Jesus presents a very different kind of kingdom—one marked by humility, sacrifice and grace.

Alongside our Bible talks, we've got a great lineup of activities including a bonfire, Bounce, karaoke, Youth's Got Talent, Nerf, turf war, Nightshift and more!

If you're in Years 7–12, we'd love to have you join us.

⛪ Remembering the Storm. Celebrating God's Faithfulness.

Next Sunday, we'll gather for one big, all-in, combined service to commemorate the destruction of our original church by a freak tornado in 1926. Better still, we'll celebrate the resilience, generosity and work of rebuilding that has continued ever since—and, above all, God's unwavering faithfulness to his Church over the past 100 years.

We're delighted to welcome Archbishop Ric Thorpe as our special guest for this significant occasion.

Join us afterwards for a special morning tea as we continue the celebration together.

🙏 Prayer Gathering & Study Launch

🍎 Winter Series | Not the Way It’s Supposed to Be

Sin is one of the Bible’s most fundamental doctrines. What is it? Why does it matter? And what has God done about it?

Over the school holidays, we’ll be exploring these questions together. It’s a topic that helps us make sense of ourselves, our world, and ultimately the good news of Jesus Christ.

We’d love you to join us as we work through this important series together.

What a joyful Sunday at St John’s!

We celebrated two baptisms, as Ian and Bella publicly professed their faith in Christ and received the sign and seal of God’s promises in baptism.

We also enjoyed presentations from our Kids Church groups, sharing some of what they’ve been learning this semester.

It was a wonderful reminder of God’s work among people of all ages as we seek to grow together as disciples of Jesus.

🐟 EQUIP26 – Undeserving

What a wonderful day together at EQUIP26!

Around 40 women gathered at St John's on Saturday to livestream the conference and spend time together under God's word.

Exploring the book of Jonah, we were challenged afresh by the mystery of God's mercy and the grace he shows to undeserving people.

We're thankful for the excellent teaching, encouraging conversations, and fellowship shared throughout the day.
