✨ Sunday the 24th

You are warmly invited to join us this Pentecost Sunday 🤍A time to gather in peace, hope, and the presence of the Holy Spirit.

The Day of Pentecost (Pentecost Sunday)
This is the end of the Easter season and the celebration of the coming of the Holy Spirit.

So this Sunday we take time and pause and Think about

God’s Spirit dwells with us and within us.
It’s about:

* peace
* comfort
* courage
* not being alone
* being filled with God’s presence

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you.”

And also the promise that the Holy Spirit will remain with us always.

✨ Gentle reflection for us

This Sunday carries a feeling of:

* renewal
* hope after weariness
* warmth
* belonging
* quiet strength

Remember you are never alone . We look forward to seeing you this Sunday

Today’s sermon by Fr Lankri was deeply moving.A reflection on Mother’s Day, love, grief, faith, and the promise from Jesus:“I will not leave you orphaned.” 🤍

There were words that comforted the hurting, honoured mothers here and gone, and reminded us that God stays close in both joy and sorrow.

One line especially stayed with me today:“Love does not end at the grave.”

Grateful for such thoughtful and compassionate preaching this morning at Christ Church Geelong.
