This is one of the amazing small businesses that makes the Gawler community a place we love.
Make sure you pop in and say Hi 👋 to the team, grab a great coffee, browse the wonderful items they have in the Cafe shop, oh and some flowers for someone special! 💐

Recap, last 12 months. This one's a bit of a "grizzletude" post... A grizzle with some gratitude. Not our normal style, but today feels a bit different.

March 2025... The ceiling of our shop fell in. Literally, a 10kg piece of plaster that missed Emma by moments. 😧

A wet winter and spring exposed our leaky roof (probably why the ceiling fell) with some spots where water cascades down the interior wall. 😡 Shout-out absent landlords who breach contracts willfully and their local agents who allow it.

In December, 3 break-ins that cost us cash as well as a spend on increased security measures.🤬

4 surrounding business closures that obliterate the foot traffic we see daily (but it does open up car parking for our customers). 😭

This morning the Murray Street fire was about 80m from us, too close for comfort. The resultant road closure has cost us significantly compared to a normal trading day. 😞

Now our footpath to the south is closed for the foreseeable future, further limiting foot traffic. 🙃

And the crew getting the job done can only park out the front here, so we look closed to anyone that does venture down. 🫪

And then... I just slammed my finger in the toilet door! 😂

Sometimes we wonder what's next, or why we keep going. It's a slog some days.

Having said all that, we have amazing staff. They're always there for our business - and us - and are some of the best at what they do. ♥️

We also appreciate the calls and messages that have come our way today, it really does mean a lot to us. And we are super grateful for those that have ventured in for a chat, coffee or some flowers - that keeps our head above the water line on a day like this. Special thanks to those who grabbed a little more than their usual order... A bacon and egg roll on top of the coffee or an extra cookie or a small flower arrangement. We saw that and felt it. Amazing. 😍

After renovations, the Transform Opportunity Shop is open again. Pop in for a browse, bring a friend, and enjoy the updated space.

Our church office is closing today and will reopen on Monday 12th January 2026. We wish everyone a blessed Christmas and a safe New Years.
All are welcome to our Christmas Eve Carol Service at 7pm, our Christmas Day service at 10am, and our usual Sunday morning services at 10am.

Join us this Christmas at our Gawler location, 10 Tod St, Gawler!

Christmas Eve, we will be kicking off the Christmas services with a traditional carols service featuring our gorgeous 100 year old organ and an all in children's nativity scene.

Christmas Day, join us for our service at 10am featuring carols and the Christmas message.
