It is St Mary Magdalene Day and appropriately is the day we measured and placed the first survey marker for the "The Mary Magdalene Garden of Healing and Reflection". This is the vision of late parishioner Sheryl Linane, who has lovingly given a bequest for its establishment.

Over the coming weeks we will be digging and planting the garden, and attempting the (complicated!) construction of a Chartres contemplative labyrinth. Updates to come as we progress!

The Collect (prayer) for St Mary Magdalene Day:
Christ our healer,
beloved and remembered by women,
speak to the grief that makes us forget,
and the terror that makes us cling,
and give us back our name,
so that we may greet you clearly,
and proclaim your risen life. Amen

This Sunday our three congregations will gather together to celebrate Trinity Sunday at 10am at the Church of the Transfiguration (35 Adelaide Road, Gawler South). We'll be joined by The Rev'd Helen Phillips, the Flourishing Church Communities Coordinator at the Diocese of Adelaide.

Because we're together as one, there won't be services at St Georges or St Francis this Sunday. We'll see you there!

An apology: We have been remiss in posting our sermon videos to Facebook over the last couple of months. However take comfort, you can catch with them all on our YouTube channel!

This week we recorded at our congregation of St Francis, Trinity College, and though not a sermon, includes all the wonderful readings and a short reflection.

The readings this week were so compelling, we've included them all. Thanks to those readers who were willing to be recorded for us. The readings are:Acts 2.1...
