Message from Fr Pearce:

Hi Everyone.

Alana O’Rielly, Sr Ignatica Joy, will make her profession with the Missionaries of Charity on the Feast of Our Lady Help of Christians, the 24th May in a ceremony in the Philippines. Due to the obvious restrictions due to COVID-19 her family and friends will be unable to join her, but will be gathering here in Melbourne with the sisters from the Missionaries of Charity to pray for her and celebrate this wonderful occasion.

You are warmly invited to join us in prayer on this special occasion.

Mass for the Feast of the Our Lady Help of Christians
St Michael’s Church
460 Dryburgh Street
North Melbourne
7:00pm - Followed by Supper.

You may like to write a personal message or card which you can bring with you and we will post together to St Ignatica Joy following Mass.

Dear all, it has been a long time since the BYD days. We have some exciting news that we would like to share. One of our former BYD leaders, Alana O'Reilly, entered the Missionaries of Charity 5 years ago and moved to the Philippines. She is now known as Sr. Ignatius Joy and will be making her vows on Monday 24th of May! In support of Sr. Ignatius Joy, one of our former Chaplains, Fr. Nicholas Pearce will be saying Mass for her on the day at 7pm at his Parish St. Michael's in North Melbourne. All are welcome to attend. Please help spread the word to others who may be interested. :) God bless.

Hey all, tomorrow night for Tuesdays in the loft we are doing pizza and board games. Feel free to bring any games and if you can bring $5 towards dinner that would be great ( if not don't stress still welcome to have some dinner) :) Hope to see you all there BYD

There are so many great things happening around the our Archdiocese these next few months!

One thing we are hoping to participate in as a group is the AOY Soccer comp! So if you like sports, having fun, meeting new people and are keen join our team let us know soon :)
