We have been given information that, Rev’ds Georgie and Bill Hawley, and also Rev Mark Walker will continue to be with us for the next few weeks, and we enjoy having them with us.

Centenary of World Day of Prayer is next year and the church for our area will be us – St Stephen’s!

The theme for Friday, 5th March 2027 is 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒊𝒏 𝑷𝒓𝒂𝒚𝒆𝒓 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑱𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑷𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒆

So please put it on your calendar for March 2027 as we will be needing MANY helpers. Please talk to Sue or Cheryl for more information.

Choir:

Everyone is welcome to join us. Occasionally now we are also singing during communion and everyone can join in. The choir will be practicing after our morning church service for the next few weeks. Our next time for singing will be Pentecost which takes place on Sunday May 24th.

Book Club:

This group met on Tuesday April 28th for the fourth meeting for 2026. The meeting is usually the last Tuesday of the month at 10.00am - all welcome. The book was “Once upon a time in Beirut” by Catherine Taylor – seemed to be very current although it was written 20 years ago.

The new book is “The Berlin Girl” by Mandy Robotham. This is quite an interesting story leading up to the Second World War in Germany.

Interesting to find out what the next book will be.

Bible Study Group:

The Calendar is available and the studies are continuing with fantastic people –on Thursday at 10.00 am – usually two meetings each month – first and third week of each month.

Note – everyone is welcome. Check with Heather or Sue for more information.

Every session is very informative and thoroughly enjoyed. The next meeting will begin Acts.
