Lots of activity in The Forest Garden yesterday during our Working Bee - Pruned the Apricot Tree, Weeded the paths and found some things ready for Harvest - lovely little carrots. The chooks had a good time too! The space is ready for replanting now. : )

"Greg's Grill" Winter event is set for Saturday 18 July straight after 5.30pm Mass. Chestnuts will be roasting and marshmallows will be toasting around the open fires! Pick up a form from the church gathering space to book your tickets.

At our working bee yesterday - we put into practice Permaculture Principle 2 Catch & Store Energy "make hay while the sun shines". We collected autumn leaves a valuable resource for our compost brown stockpile...we collect while the resource is in abundance to store for the months ahead - forward thinking!
