Worship can become part of our routine. We show up, sing the songs, say the words - but are we actually engaging with God?

God isn’t looking for perfect routines or empty rituals. He’s looking for people who worship Him in honesty - fully present.

So, what is your worship actually seeking?

Are you making space to encounter God, or simply doing what you’ve always done?

This week, we’ll explore what it means to worship with intention, honesty and a heart turned towards God.

Is your "I can do it myself" attitude actually leaving you exhausted?

We wear hyper-independence like a badge of honor. We’re taught to be self-reliant, to never ask for help, and to figure it all out on our own. But honestly? Carrying the weight of the world on your own shoulders is a heavy way to live.

John 15 gives perspective on 'honor that comes from the hustle'.

Jesus calls Himself the True Vine and reminds us that we are simply the branches. Think about that: a branch doesn't "hustle" to grow grapes. It doesn't try to be independent of the tree. It just stays connected.

When we lean into that "DIY" spirituality, we eventually hit a wall.

We realize:

Self-sufficiency leads to burnout.

Dependence on Christ leads to peace.

If you’re tired of trying to force things to happen in your own strength, here is your permission to stop and reconsider another way.

What way? His way.

Each of us quietly believes our mother is the best in the world, but that beauty comes from something God Himself placed within her-Love. 🤍

This Sabbath, we celebrate and honor our mothers because the love they show us reflects the heart of God and inspires us to love others with that same compassion and grace. 🕊️✨

We’ve all tried opening doors that only lead to dead ends-like changing who we are just to fit in, working so hard for security that we end up burnt out, or thinking that looking "perfect" will finally make us feel like enough. It’s exhausting to keep searching for a place to belong and coming up empty.

This Sabbath, Pastor Moses continues our Soul Quencher series with Part 3: The Gateway.

We’re looking at how Jesus is the only door that leads to true freedom and a life that actually feels full.

He reveals who God is and transforms who we are-from the inside out.

Seen in Paul. Foretold by the prophets. Proven through His works.

The invitation?

Step out of the dark… and walk in His life-giving light.

We chase what fills us for a moment, but He offers what truly satisfies.

Join us this Sabbath (March 28) for a special Communion Service as we prepare our hearts for Easter 🌿

We’ll be gathering outdoors at Edinburgh Gardens (the park opposite church), so bring along a picnic blanket, chairs & sun protection ☀️

Our children’s program will be part of the service, followed by our monthly potluck dinner back in the hall 🍽️

(Church opens at 3pm if you’d like to drop off a dish!)
