Figtree Anglican Church

Figtree Anglican Church Jesus for everyone. Forever. Come along this Sunday at 8am, 10am or 6pm - all welcome! Want to know more about Jesus?

At FAC our focus is about people and relationships; a relationship with God through Jesus and relationships with others; relationships which grow deeper and stronger with spiritual maturity. Download our Connecting for Life Flyer for more information about how we do this at FAC. Our Mission, Vision & Values are about building a community of believers who will glorify God in all areas of life. For

us at FAC being this community means we are people who come from different locations and different life experiences, but we gather together with a common unity. We are people whose values and life are given over to the mission of Christ in making disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:16-20). We believe that making disciples is at the core of our mission because it is God's chosen method of spreading the Good News of salvation through Christ. Come along to one of our Services or send us a message to find out more!

So much warmth in the room as women of all ages came together to sing, pray, and hear Bible teaching and personal stories about how Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.
Our women's teaching series began this week, and there's two more sessions to go! Held on Tuesday nights (12+19 May) from 7:30pm, all women are invited to come along and hear more about what Jesus shared with His disciples in His last hours, and what we can be doing with our 'last hours' as we live for Him.

You're invited to a special Mother's Day celebration at Figtree Anglican Church this Sunday, 10 May.
Bring along your loved ones and join us for a beautiful morning together. We'll have a delicious high tea spread between our two morning services from 9:15am, and a photo booth will be set up at all services to capture some memorable moments.
We'd love to see you there!

We recently celebrated the baptism of four members of our church family! Each of these baptisms represents a life that has been transformed by Jesus. Baptism is a symbol of what Jesus has already done for us, washing us clean from sin; where God says, 'you belong'.

But when they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled away. As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed.
“Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him."
Mark 16:4-6

He is risen! Celebrate Resurrection Sunday with us today - 8am, 10am and 6pm.

We hopped out of our front door today to spread some Easter joy! Using what’s familiar about Easter for our community, we aim to bridge the gap and share the true meaning of this special season - that God so loved the world that he gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

We’ll be handing out Easter treats and chatting with our community at school drop-off and pick-up times each day this week, so stop by and say hello!

The scary reality? We're not in control. The beautiful truth? Jesus is, and He will never falter like we do. Your eternal hope isn't hanging by a thread - it's anchored in the promises of the Creator Himself. Let go and find greater comfort in Him.
