📚✨ St Mary’s Assyrian Language School 2026 – Term 1, Week 7 ✨📚

Another wonderful evening at St Mary’s Assyrian Language School! 💙 Our students continued to grow in their Assyrian language skills through engaging lessons and activities. 📖

This week, the children also explored their Assyrian history in preparation for Kha b’Nissan🌼, learning about its significance and the rich heritage behind this special celebration.

It’s always so special to see our students connecting with their language, culture and history, building confidence week by week. 👏

We’re so proud of their dedication and look forward to seeing everyone again next week! 🤗

Today the children learned about Hannah and how God heard her prayer for a son (1 Samuel 1:9–28). Hannah prayed with deep faith and trusted God with her sorrow, and the Lord blessed her with Samuel.

Through this lesson, the children learned the importance of prayer, trusting in God, and keeping our promises to Him, remembering that God always listens to the prayers of His people. ❤️

We look forward to seeing you all again next Monday as we continue this journey of faith. 🙏🏻

As we draw near to Him, we are also called to turn from our old ways, to repent, and to renew our hearts. The living water of Christ does not only quench our thirst, it cleanses, restores, and transforms us, leading us into a new life with Him.
