Hello Valley Church Family!

We are currently in need of a few things at the Valley Network for our Welfare clients.

If you are able to donate any of these items, could you please place them in the Network tub at the back of the church?

Long Life Milk - this is the item we are most in need of.

Also, SMALL Jars or packets of:

Coffee
Weetbix
Corn Flakes
Biscuits
Jams/spreads

Please remember that this Sunday we are receiving donations of items to be included in Christmas Hampers for The Network to distribute to our local families in need. 👏🏻

We are accepting any unexpired long life pantry items suitable for this time of year, such as tinned fruit, long life whole or light milk, small packets of weetbix etc, and also Christmas treats such as biscuits, pretzels, fruit cake, nuts etc.

Please place all donations under the Christmas tree in the foyer at church.

Hi Everyone,

*****HELP NEEDED*****

As you know The Caring Network is holding a car boot sale this Saturday 22/04 at 10am - 3pm as a fundraiser to improve our garden, which helps us feed members of our community.

We have approx 25 car spaces booked and are opening both of our op shops.

We also have Roamer Bean coffee van attending. ☕️

We need your help!!!!!

We are after 2-3 volunteers to help with directing traffic from approx 8am, and 2-3 volunteers to help serve customers at the bbq, selling sausages from 11am until sold out.
We already have someone to do the cooking.

We really are running on a skeleton crew of our regular volunteers due to many people having prior arrangements and being unable to attend.

If you are able to help, even just for an hour or so, can you please let me know asap?

Whether you can physically help on Saturday or not, please PRAY! 🙏

We have a new leaflet to hand out on the day telling people who we are and what we do, and I am so excited to see this fundraiser grow the number of people seeking us out during the week for welfare (and other) assistance. If you’d like to come just to hand out leaflets please let me know too.

So be sure to eat an extra large breakfast Saturday morning too, to build your strength and stamina and then join the team at TVCC from 8am Saturday. (See previous post for details).

In what promises to be one of the best Christmas Carol events the region has seen in years, this year’s annual event, hosted at Exeter showgrounds on 11th December, sees a larger emphasis on celebrating the true meaning of Christmas.
