St Andrews Anglican Church, Evandale

St Andrews Anglican Church, Evandale At St Andrew’s Evandale, we pray that all people will come to know God and be growing in His love. Everyone is welcome!

Join us as we seek to serve others; loving God and building community in Evandale and beyond. St Andrew’s Anglican Church (yes, it’s very confusing - the Uniting Church directly across the road is also called St Andrew’s!) has a long history in the village of Evandale and is a prominent landmark in the town. The parish dates from the 1830’s and the present building from 1872. Evandale is a small c

ommunity and for some time has proven to be too small to support a parish with full time minister, so St Andrew’s has been in various partnerships with other nearby parishes. From the start of 2019 St Andrew's began sharing resources with the parish of Holy Trinity, Launceston, in order to provide regular services on Sunday evenings, and officially became part of the Holy Trinity parish in July 2020.

Looking for a church home? We’d love to welcome you.
Join us each Sunday as we gather to worship God, hear His Word, pray together, and encourage one another in Christ.

At St Andrew's, our mission is simple:

To know Christ, to grow in Christ, and to share Christ.

We seek to be a church that is: Rooted in Scripture – listening carefully to God’s Word and seeking to live it out. Rich in Worship – gathering to praise God with reverence, joy, and gratitude. Reaching our Community – sharing the love, hope, and grace of Christ in practical ways.

Whether you are exploring faith, returning to church, or looking for a church family, you are warmly invited to join us this Sunday at 5pm.

“Come and see” what God is doing among His people.

We look forward to welcoming you.

This blog explores why the future of gospel ministry doesn’t depend on a few leaders—it depends on all of us multiplying the message.
