Join us to celebrate SAKA DAWA tomorrow, Sunday 31 May, from 8am 🙏💛

Saka Dawa commemorates Shakyamuni Buddha’s birth, enlightenment, and parinirvana — a most precious and powerful holy day when karmic results are multiplied by 300 million times.

As Lama Zopa Rinpoche explained:
“Because Saka Dawa combines these three special days, the possibility to create merit is unbelievable. Due to this, it is very important for one to use this opportunity to do everything the best!”

The Big Shakyamuni Buddha Thangka is being raised in the Nalanda Masters Garden today, Saturday.

🪷 MEDITATION FOR PEACEFUL LIVING, with Ven. Tony Beaumont 🪷

🌟Saturday 30 May, 9am -4:45pm, in the Wellbeing Centre

We warmly welcome you to join us for a one-day retreat exploring how to cultivate a peaceful and meaningful life through meditation, with a special focus on loving-kindness, compassion, and our relationships with others.

Living peacefully begins with living ethically, and the foundation of ethical living is learning to genuinely consider others. By developing a wholehearted concern for others—grounded in compassion and wisdom—we create the conditions for a life that benefits both ourselves and those around us.

Throughout the day, we will reflect and meditate on how our thoughts, words, and actions shape our experience, and how we can consciously cultivate more supportive and harmonious relationships in all areas of life.

Whether you are completely new to the practice or looking to deepen your meditation experience, this one-day retreat warmly welcomes everyone 💛

🌟Warm welcome to join us for:
16 Guidelines for Life with Ven. Tsultrim - Second Weekend 🌟

Saturday 6 June 2026 9:00 am
Sunday 7 June 2026 4:00 pm

Wellbeing Centre - Chenrezig Institute

The 16 Guidelines for Life are a set of timeless and universal human values that have inspired individuals for over a millennia. They offer simple steps and practical tools to help you reflect, relate more openly with others, and to bring change to your heart and mind, recognising that we are interdependent and interconnected to so many aspects of our world and what lies within it. They offer us the opportunity to develop a warm heart, a wise mind and a happy life.

The 16 guidelines revolve around four key themes: thinking wisely, acting kindly, building strong relationships, and embracing change for deeper meaning. This approach promises not just greater joy but a better world.

They are underpinned by four philosophical themes:

1. How We Think: The way we use our mind determines the way we live.

We will explore

humility

patience

contentment

delight

2. How We Act: Every skilful action makes for a better world.

We will explore

kindness

honesty

generosity

right speech

3. How We Relate: To take care of others is to take care of ourselves.

We will explore

respect

forgiveness

gratitude

loyalty

4. How We Find Meaning: If everything is changing many things are possible.

We will explore

aspiration

principles

service

courage

Feeling better starts with living better.

The first workshop in April explored the first 8 guidelines. This second workshop continues with the final 8 guidelines and offers a way to move forward in our lives with purpose and resolve to bring more joy into our hearts and minds as well as to those around us.

It is not necessary to have attended the first weekend to participate. Everyone is welcome to join.

🙏✨ Warm invitation to join:

The 2026 FPMT GLOBAL MANI RETREAT, that is scheduled to commence on the first day of Saka Dawa month (Sunday, May 17, 2026), and conclude on the final Buddha Day for this year, Lhabab Duchen (Sunday, November 1, 2026).

This retreat will be something unprecedented for our global FPMT family. By coming together in fellowship and harmony, we pray to extract the very essence of this precious human rebirth, and dedicate all our efforts for the happiness of all dear sentient beings and for all our holy gurus to remain until the state of enlightenment is achieved.

✨ “This is one of my dreams, to have 100 Million Mani Retreats each year and for it to continue forever, even after I die, even after the people living now die. Those who are working, offering service now—to continue even after they die; to continue for as long as the country exists.” — Lama Zopa Rinpoche

🙏 At Chenrezig Institute, we are delighted to offer this wonderful opportunity to join the Nyung Nä retreat and become part of this vast vision and dedication through the powerful practice and recitation of the Mani mantras.
