The latest Haven a Newsletter should be hitting your inboxes right about now!

We’d love to see you this Saturday as Pr Glenn Townend wraps up our ‘Faith Revived’ series, followed by a little friendly competition fun our young adults with a night of trivia.

And, ladies, come to San Churros tonight at 7pm to escape the miserable weather. With a hot chocolate & sweet treat in hand you won’t even notice the rain!

No pressure, just good people, good conversations, and space to connect.

POV: you ask a teenager to “capture the vibe of church” and receive 47 selfies, one blurry congregation shot, and a bunch of zoomed out worship shots. 😭📸.
And somehow… they still captured it perfectly.
Because church isn’t about getting the perfect shot.
It’s people showing up as they are, finding joy in community, and making room for Jesus together.

I don’t know who needs this today but Psalm 116:1–2 changed the way I see prayer ❤️
“The Lord hears my voice…”
The image of God leaning in to listen is powerful.

God isn’t distant or half-listening while I try to find the “right” words.
He actually leans in.
He listens.

That picture turned prayer from a routine into a relationship for me.

No perfect words.
No pretending.
Just honesty with God.

Send this to someone who needs the reminder that God is listening.

Mother’s Day from all at The Haven 💛
Yesterday was a morning filled with good coffee, warm croissants, plenty of laughs, and people who make this community feel like home.

To every mum, grandma, spiritual mum, mentor, and woman who loves and cares for others so faithfully, we celebrate you today. And for those who find today difficult, we’re thinking of you too.
