Congratulations to Fr Shayne who has been appointed as a Chaplain for the Broken Bay World Youth Day Pilgrimage!

Scheduled from 26 July to 12 August 2027, the Diocese pilgrimage begins through Japan before moving on to Seoul and nearby Incheon in South-Korea. Young people aged 15 to 35 are invited to embark on what many past participants describe as the experience of a lifetime.

Two big weekends of welcoming families on the journey of Confirmation prep across both our churches. Our parish is looking forward to celebrating this important milestone with you! Thank you to all the volunteers behind the scenes helping to make this a memorable time for the families! May God’s blessings be with us all and the Holy Spirit guide us always. Today we farewell Matthew as he returns to the Seminary to continue his formation.

For the past 18 months, he has prayed with us, served with us, and become part of our parish family. We thank him for allowing us to walk alongside him on this beautiful journey toward priesthood.

Matthew, know that our prayers go with you and we look forward to the day we gather again for your ordination. God bless you always.
