Here is part of a song in yesterday’s service. The singer Praew along with many in the band grew up in the slums. Pastor Ant’s son is on the drums! We will tell the next generation the praiseworthy things of God!

It’s throwback Mission Monday! Remember MT2015 to Thailand! The group worked on many projects including this one at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Khlong Toei not far from Home of Praise! Eleven years on the mural still shines bright in the courtyard (see last photo) The kindergarten no longer runs but they now run a music school where children from the slums and Home of Praise come to learn music. The young boy, that’s Pastor Ant’s son (2015) and he is Calvin Jnr, who plays the drums along with violin and other instruments! Pastor Mark met one of the girls who grew up at Home of Praise who interpreted for him, who remembers the love of the missionaries and mission teams whose presence and love told her that she is worth something. We will share her story soon. LifeWay your mission hearts make a difference, one life at a time! You might not see the transformation but the stories we are hearing now give testament to what God is doing! That’s what Living Jesus love, sharing his hope with all, growing in grace together is all about! One more thing: Pastor Ant and some of the older members who remember us asked, ‘When will you come back?’ Maybe a reunion trip!

Who we believe Jesus is shapes everything—what we believe, how we live, and how we relate to him.

That’s what we’ve been exploring this Holy Week at LifeWay—through the story, message, songs, and visual displays that help bring this truth into focus, creating space to pause, reflect, and engage more deeply.

We’d love you to join us this Easter Sunday as we gather for the final instalment and celebrate the hope, life, and transformation found in Jesus.

There’s an old, well-worn truth: If you think God is distant, ask yourself—who moved? Jesus’ call has never changed. Still, he says, “Follow me.” This Lent, his invitation is simple and profound: come closer. Closer to forgiveness. Closer to strength and healing. Closer to purpose and commissioning. Closer still—to walking with him through death and into life eternal.

As we journey with Jesus toward the cross, he invites us to have our hearts made whole—to follow him wholeheartedly from where we may stand alone, to where he stands in the presence of the Father and the fulfilment of God’s Kingdom. This Lent, come closer to Jesus—the one who transforms everything we are into everything the Father created us to be.

This six part preaching series begins Ash Wednesday 18 February 2026.

Come and join us for this 3-part series as we discover Jesus' Vision in a new sermon series beginning Sunday 1 February 2026.

We all need a clear vision—a compass to guide us toward who, where, and how Jesus calls us to live as his people. But what if our vision is shaped more by personal dreams and aspirations rather than Jesus’ vision for us? In this series, we will discern Jesus’ vision for our living as his people, sharing with each other and growing together in God’s kingdom priorities. Join us as we seek to embody Christ’s heart for his Church and the world, allowing His vision to transform how we live, serve, and flourish together.
