The time has come - and we're "All In"! Celebrate with us as we join in singing with over 41,000 Voices for Reconciliation across Australia. Here are some of the other choirs singing for justice, hope and joy.

Come along on Sunday to hear Voices for Reconciliation! The pop-cup community choir will be singing "Beds are Burning" during the 9am service, and we are excited to welcome guest speaker Jane Kelly from Common Grace. And there's morning tea afterwards - all welcome!
Thanks to Reconciliation Australia for organising Voices for Reconcilation - it's been such a privilege to join for each of the last 4 years!

On National Sorry Day, we honour the strength, truth and lived experiences of Stolen Generations survivors and their families.
Saying sorry matters. It acknowledges truth and signals compassion.
But sorry without action is not enough.

Since the 'Bringing Them Home' report was delivered 30 years ago, only five of its 83 recommendations to address the harm caused under these past government policies have been fully implemented.

Real change demands leadership, accountability and urgency. We must act now to meet the outstanding needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Stolen Generations survivors and their families. We must turn sorry into action.

It's budget time! Things might be tough, but we can't turn our back on the poorest and most vulnerable people. UnitingWorld reminds us that Australian aid transforms so many lives and communities.

Uniting Church leaders have joined the Micah Australia campaign to defend Australian Aid from budget cuts.

Did you know that the Uniting Church in Australia has deep ties across the Pacific? The Pacific Church Leaders meeting in Suva addressed the climate crisis last week by meeting in a Fijian community already facing rising seas. Local voices shared how land is disappearing, food sources are changing, and everyday life is being reshaped by this sharp, lived reality.
For the Church, this is our calling—to stand with our Pacific neighbours, listening deeply, acting justly, and responding with courage in the face of the climate crisis, as part of God’s restoring work in a changing world.
Rev Alimoni Taumoepeau (Team Leader Intercultural Ministry and Climate Action for the NSW/ACT Synod, and familiar to our congregation for his work with Sydney Alliance) was there, highlighting the experiences of seasonal and palm workers—reminding leaders that climate, labour, and justice are deeply interconnected across the Pacific.
Uniting Church President Rev Charissa Suli addressed the gathering, reminding listeners in an area facing rising seas, migration and deep social challenges, that “Jesus meets us where we are. He walks with us… and reconnects us with God’s story.”

We thank the Uniting Church in Australia for reminding us that, at a time of renewed debate on immigration in Australia, we are called to respond with compassion, clarity and courage.
"As Christians, we are called to uphold truth, justice and dignity for all, beginning with right relationships with Australia’s First Peoples, and extending to every newcomer – whether they be a refugee, asylum seeker or visa holder.
Australia is a multicultural, multifaith society, strengthened by diversity. Policies that divide or dehumanise do not lead to a flourishing society; they only harm.
Jesus reminds us in Matthew 25:35: “I was a stranger and you welcomed me”.
A strong and hopeful future is built through peaceful relationships and cooperation that honours the inherent dignity and equal worth of every person."

Eco Sew Holiday workshops always create a sparkle that lights up hearts and minds. We had 19 kids and an awesome crew of instructors and supporters who created 21 owl or koala softies from fabric otherwise destined for landfill.

It was such a joy to sit with young and older working together; learning, listening and loving. Some kids have been to our workshops before, while others are completely new to sewing. It is such a privilege to work together!

Owls and koalas have roamed Gweagal lands for thousands of years. We challenged ourselves to protect their habitat into the future.

The Uniting Church in Australia stands in prayerful solidarity with our global ecumenical partners, the World Communion of Reformed Churches (WCRC) and the World Council of Churches, as they raise their voices in response to the violence and instability in the Middle East.
May we continue to pray for peace, justice and the dignity of all people.
