Welcome to St Patrick’s Parish news

2026 continues to fly by, and the weeks seem full, so it was wonderful to come together as a parish and enjoy each other’s company and the many celebrations held over Bishop Danny’s pastoral visit in August. Frs Albano and Joe look forward to sharing with the community the many wonderful images taken over that weekend. More soon.

The Finance Council continue to work towards a healthy financial status for our parish. Included in this week’s bulletin in the Income & Expenditure Report, with more financial news to be presented. Welcome to St Patrick's Parish Emerald News. Welcome to Bishop Danny this weekend on his inaugural pastoral visit to Emerald and Springsure. We look forward to hosting you this weekend and for our communities to meet you.

Congratulations all around in our region. Congratulations to the 43 youth who are completing Sacraments this weekend. Congratulations to Zebulon and Genevieve on the celebration of their marriage this Saturday. Congratulations to the Springsure community on their Centenary Celebrations for Our Lady of the Sacred Heart's 100 years. Congratulations to Fr Albano who will be officially installed this Sunday as Emerald and Springsure's Parish Priest. Congratulations to Oliver and Harriet who will be married next Saturday.

And finally, please join us this Sunday for St Patrick's Annual Multicultural Mass, 10am followed by shared brunch and entertainment. All Welcome.
