A wonderful evening with church friends and family to say a huge thank you and farewell to Nicki Lane as she finishes up as CEO of ECHO.

It was fantastic to hear all the lovely stories from different staff and board members all telling us a little more about the tireless work Nicki did in her 9 years serving in this role and the 40+ years of ECHO’s work in our community.

It was fabulous to have so many guests, including some of the founding members of ECHO ministries to help us celebrate!

As always, a huge thank you to all those who help make Monday nights happen.

We have some very talented gardeners and dahlia growers that make our church look beautiful, of which we are very thankful!

Well the weather may have been inclement but the conversations and lunch were warm and sunny!!

One of our favourite things to do is sit down and share a meal together - this is made possible by our church family generously bringing food to share and helping pitch in. It’s always a highlight of the week!

And we were spoilt with beautiful salads and a dessert buffet this time!

What a celebration 🥳

We’re so grateful to the wonderful tradies that have helped transform, illuminate, repair, replace and paint our beautiful church buildings.

A huge thank you to Ahmad and Nicki for the roast lamb and smoked chicken, and for the lads in the kitchen, cooking up a storm as always!

Thank you to those that brought some yummy salads and gogeous desserts! Empty plates all round!!

It was a special evening and a privilege to be able to gather, sit, chat and worship. Thanks to the ever revolving stream of musicians who played and sung and drummed the evening along.

And a very happy birthday to the one and only Jonathan - joyeux anniversaire 🎂
