🍔🤾 Hamburgers & Handball – What a Success! 🤾 🥎

What a fantastic event! A huge thank you to all of the dads and father figures who joined our students for a hamburger and a friendly game of handball. It was wonderful to see so many proudly donning their medals of success and, most importantly, enjoying some special time together. 🏅💙

Our students had an absolutely wonderful time, and an event like this would not be possible without the generosity and support of our community.

⭐️ We are incredibly grateful to Local Community Ventures for their outstanding generosity and support. They donated all of the water, sauces, burger patties and burger buns for the event, making an enormous contribution to the success of the day. We truly appreciate everything they have done to support our school community.

🧃 A special thank you to Woolworths for generously donating all of the poppers for our students to enjoy.

🥩 We would also like to thank Mariam’s Butcher in Austral for supporting our event by providing the meat at a generously discounted price. We greatly appreciate their support of our school community.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who supported the event and helped make the day such a success. 💙

Finally, a huge thank you to everyone who helped organise, prepare, cook and serve, and to all of the families who joined us. The smiles on our students’ faces said it all! 🥰

Compassion Sunday is happening this week at AnchorPoint! ❤️

This Sunday, we have the opportunity to do something that can make a lasting difference in the life of a child.

Together with Compassion, we’ll be learning more about child sponsorship and how we can help children around the world break free from poverty and discover hope for their future.

It’s more than a sponsorship. It’s an opportunity to stand alongside a child, support their journey, and be part of something bigger.

Love that we get to support the children and families who need a little extra TLC in one our of our local schools! Leppington Public School excel at supporting their families and we love to partner with them. 💚

A huge thank you to Local Community Ventures and Anchorpoint Church for their generous donation of snacks, drinks and pantry items to Leppington Public School.

Thanks to your kindness, these items will help stock our Breakfast Club, provide recess snacks for students who need them, and support the food items included in our family hamper bags throughout the year.

Your generosity helps ensure our students have access to food when they need it most, allowing them to start the day ready to learn and thrive. We are incredibly grateful for your ongoing support of our school community.
