The Solemnity of the Most Holy and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi) marked across Sydney last weekend with Eucharistic processions that brought Christ in the Blessed Sacrament into local streets as a public witness of faith.

The recently canonised Millenial saint Carlo Acutis applied his tech know-how to creating a website cataloging 130 or so well-documented and Church-approved Eucharistic miracles.

In his remarkable, yet short life, St Carlo has helped believers and non-believers alike gain a deeper appreciation of Eucharistic miracles: a true wonder of our faith.

I warmly invite you to a free talk I am giving on Eucharistic miracles on the campus of the Catholic Institute of Sydney in Strathfield on June 30 at 7:30pm in partnership with the Parish Renewal Team, Archdiocese of Sydney.

Dear friends, thanks be to God for today's celebration of Corpus Christi in our parish. Thank you to all involved and to everyone who came to honor the King of kings and Lord of heaven and earth, Jesus Christ present in the Blessed Sacrament. On Sun 7th June, we will celebrate Corpus Christi and St Kevin’s Feast Day, commencing with Mass at 9:30am, followed by Eucharistic Procession & Benediction.
Following the Eucharistic Procession & Benediction, you are invited to join us for a celebratory lunch in the Haseler Centre (Parish Hall).

A blessed Pentecost Sunday to everyone! May the power and grace of the Holy Spirit
continue to pour upon you abundantly and fill you with peace, joy and love! ❤️

At Pentecost, Our Easter Lord, the Giver of redeeming grace and eternal life, bequeaths to us one last gift: the Holy Spirit of truth and love, of unity and peace, who inaugurates and inspires the Church.

“Filled with the Holy Spirit”, the disciples were being transformed, as fire transforms a landscape.

There would be no more hiding in locked rooms: from that moment onward, people would see them publicly engaging in works of witness, proclamation, power and healing. They would be on fire with faith, hope and love.

Like the disciples, we too must be receptive if transformation is to occur in us. We too must devote ourselves to constant prayer, stay united and patient, waiting for God.
