Why “Chosen to Thrive” 🤔
Chosen to Thrive is more than a theme, it’s a prophetic declaration over our church. Chosen to Thrive is our theme this year because we believe God is calling us into a season of flourishing, personally, generationally, and corporately. It reflects God’s heart not just for survival, but for growth, fruitfulness, and lasting impact.
Thriving Life 🎉
We are called to live lives deeply rooted in God, drawing strength from Him like trees planted by streams of living water. In a world often shaped by pressure, uncertainty, and scarcity, thriving life means living with resilience, purpose, and hope. We don’t simply cope with circumstances, we grow through them, blossom in every season, and become living testimonies of God’s goodness and faithfulness.
Thriving Generations 👩👦
God’s vision is always multigenerational. A thriving church doesn’t stop with the present moment, but intentionally raises, equips, and empowers the next generation to walk in truth and fulfil their God-given calling. Just as Scripture speaks of trees bearing fruit in every season, we believe in passing on faith, values, and spiritual legacy so future generations can thrive and carry God’s purposes forward.
Thriving Land 🏡
God’s work of restoration extends beyond individuals to communities and places. Isaiah 35 paints a picture of dry places being renewed and deserts blooming. We believe God is leading us to establish a permanent church home in Hamilton Hill, a space that will serve as a lighthouse of hope, faithfulness, and kindness to our neighbourhood and the nations. As we move forward in faith, we pray for God’s favour, growing generosity, and provision so that this vision can be built and made visible.😀
In this season, we declare that we are Chosen to Thrive, planted with purpose, flourishing in every season, and impacting the world around us for God’s glory. 🙌
