Good Morning Everyone,
As Friday is the day on which Jesus suffered on the cross let us today remember all those who suffer as a result of this virus and those who work so very hard to alleviate that suffering.

Lord Jesus, you embraced suffering and pain on the cross,
Embrace now all those who suffer in any way:
Those struggling to breathe, those watching and holding them, those with the burden of grief.
We pray for all nurses, doctors, surgeons, and all who work in our hospitals from the Ceo’s to the cleaners,
be with them as an assuring presence giving them calm and strength, resilience and perseverance,
at the end of their exhausting shifts may they know they have done their best and worked miracles
with you.
We pray for patients, take from them all anxiety, anger and frustration so they can see
your healing work in the faces of those who minister to them.
Finally, we pray for all in research that you may lead them to even greater
cures, treatments and wonder in your name. Amen.

It was a joy to welcome people back to church last Sunday
we are now back to something like it used to be precovid with our 8 am and 10 am service
we are for now following the three ‘s’s
of sanitise, separate and silence - we are still not allowed to sing.
