St Peter’s Church, in the Parish of East Maitland is an Anglican community of Christians seeking to worship God, grow in faith and serve the people of our local area. Our worship is dignified but relaxed and our congregations include people of all ages. We are Christians in the Anglican Catholic tradition who gather in the beautiful Church of Saint Peter in William Street, East Maitland. If you ha

ve not been to a church service for a while, if you are exploring the mystery and meaning of life, if you are wanting to give your children Christian foundations, or if you are simply curious we look forward to welcoming you! We are a Parish of the Anglican Diocese of Newcastle, in the Anglican Church of Australia. If you are a member of the Church of England, the Episcopal Church or another Church within the Anglican Communion, and you live in the vicinity of East Maitland then we are your local Parish Church. We are a busy Parish with activities for all ages, and you are most welcome to join us. Our Parish Priest will be very happy to visit you to let you know more about us. The best way to find out about us is to come along and join us for worship one weekend on Saturday evening or Sunday morning or at our fortnightly God Time Family Eucharist.
