God has blessed our Church and in November 2013 the story continued in Geelong as a new church was birthed with a passion to know Jesus and make Jesus known. Before anything existed—He was there.

The Creator.

The One from whom all things come.

In just a few chapters of Genesis,
we glimpse something extraordinary—
a God of power who speaks worlds into existence,
a God of provision who sustains what He creates,
a God of love and goodness woven through it all.

Everything begins with Him.
Everything finds its foundation in Him.

What a joy-filled Easter Sunday across all our City on a Hill campuses! 🌿✨

We witnessed so many lives publicly declare their faith through water baptism - powerful moments of grace, courage, and new beginnings. Each story is a testimony of Jesus’ saving work, and we couldn’t be more thankful to celebrate alongside every person who took this step.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” - 2 Corinthians 5:17

To everyone who was baptised: we are so grateful for you and cheering you on as you continue to follow Jesus. And to our church family - thank you for showing up, celebrating loudly, and being part of what God is doing across our cities.

City Youth Geelong is launching a new series next week! 🙌

✨ “The Beginning of Everything”
A youth series walking through Genesis 1–11

Across these weeks, our Youth Team will be guiding students through the foundations of the Bible - covering creation, humanity, sin, and the God who is over everything.

This series is designed specifically for our youth, creating space to explore big questions, grow in faith, and build community together.

⏰ Years 6–8: 6:30–8:30PM
⏰ Years 9–12: 7:30–9:30PM

We are all searching. Searching for peace in the pressure of life, purpose in the chaos, love that truly lasts, and hope that endures beyond the moment. We try to find it in many places like in the approval of friends, the success of our careers, the excitement of new experiences, or the comfort of possessions. Yet, no matter how much we accumulate or achieve, something still feels incomplete.

The story of Christmas reminds us that while we have been searching for meaning, God has been searching for us. From the very beginning, He has been pursuing a relationship with us, longing to draw us close. And in Jesus, God stepped into our world, not from a distance, but into our messy, complicated, everyday lives.

Christmas isn’t just a story from the past - it’s a living invitation to encounter the One who makes all things new.

In Jesus, the search is over.

Our Reverse Advent calendar drop off is this coming Saturday, the 13th of December! Unlike traditional advent calendars, where you receive something every day, the reverse advent calendar is all about giving an item each day in November, which will then be distributed in the community to bring hope and joy to families who need it most.
What a beautiful way to love our community during this season. If you'd still love to be a part of it, it's not too late! There are boxes available at our church.
