IT'S OUR BIRTHDAY!

COME AND CELEBRATE WITH US THIS SUNDAY 21ST JUNE AT THE SINGLETON UNITING CHURCH AS WE CELEBRATE 49 YEARS OF THE UNITING CHURCH.

Theme: “Happy Birthday – a time of Reflection & Resolve”
Service commences at 9 a.m. followed at 10am with fellowship over morning tea in the hall.

What a wonderful day in the life of the Singleton Uniting Church as we celebrated 120 years of worship in our beautiful heritage listed Church.
So good to gather with new and old friends in Worship in the Church and enjoy Fellowship over morning tea.
A special thank you is extended to all who contributed in the success of the day - it was much appreciated and added much to the congenial atmosphere of our special celebration.

I think one of the hardest parts of faith…

is trusting God when nothing looks different yet.

When the prayer is still unanswered.

When the healing still feels unfinished.

When the situation you surrendered keeps trying to pull anxiety back out of you.

Because trusting God sounds beautiful…

until you are living in the middle part.

The waiting part.

The “I know You are able but I do not know what You are doing” part.

But I am learning something.

Faith is not pretending you are never scared.

Faith is bringing your fear to God instead of letting fear become your god.

There is a difference.

So if your heart feels tired today…

you are not failing because you still need reassurance.

Sometimes faith sounds like,

“Lord… I trust You.

Help me keep trusting You here too.”

SINGLETON UNITING CHURCH 120 YEAR CELEBRATION
All are invited to join with us to celebrate our Church building turning 120 years on Sunday 7th June 2026

We are located on the Corner of Church & Hunter Street Singleton

The Theme for the day is "Looking Back - Looking Forward"

The celebrations will begin with Morning Worship in the Church at 9am followed by a formal welcome and cutting of the Celebration Cake at 10.15 a.m. in the hall.

As part of the formalities in the hall, we will be "Looking Back" at important milestones in the life of the Church and enjoy some singing from our Samoan friends who worship at our Church.

Both the Church and the Hall will be open until 3 p.m. on the day so visitors and guests will be able to enjoy the ambience of our beautiful heritage building, peruse the Static Display set up in the hall, and enjoy fellowship over light refreshments that will be available all day.
