Christ the Redeemer - Maronite Catholic Parish of the Hills Christ the Redeemer – Maronite Catholic Parish of the Hills was established to give the local Maronite Catholic Community a place to gather and worship.

This initiative is with the encouragement and blessing of His Excellency Bishop Antoine-Charbel Tarabay and in accordance with the Sixth Priority, “Maronite Outreach” of our Maronite Diocesan Seven Year Plan set by Bishop Tarabay in 2013, where, with the support of clergy and laity, Bishop Taraby aims to open new Mass Centres, and develop new Maronite Catholic parishes. The first Hills Parish committee meeting was held on the 1st of July 2015 and the first Parish Mass celebrated at Oakhill College on the 6th of December 2015. Now well established as a Maronite Catholic Parish in the Hills District, we have been holding weekly Sunday morning Masses at Oakhill College Chapel, Gilroy College and Mary Mount Mercy Centre Chapel and Sunday afternoon and evening Masses at Our Lady of Lourdes Baulkham Hills along with Tuesday evening fortnightly Masses.

Alpha isn’t about having all the right answers or pretending you have life figured out. It’s about showing up, sharing a meal and exploring life and faith with people who are asking questions too.

From Friday 4 September to Sunday 20 September, CTR will come alive with Mass, prayer, Adoration, faith talks, food, fellowship, youth gatherings, family celebrations and so much more.

This isn’t just a week of events.
It’s a celebration of faith, family, community and everything God has done through CTR over the past 10 years.

We've got so much to be thankful for, and so much to celebrate in our 10th year at CTR. Here's one for the memory banks, our 2017 Carols by Candle Light celebration at Gilroy College. This was definitely a celebration with over 500 members of our community coming to celebrate and sing with us. Christmas is always a special time of year but its seems a bit more special at Christ the Redeemer Maronite Parish.

Today we celebrate the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, when Mary, having completed her earthly life, was taken body and soul into the glory of heaven. 💙🙏

For us, this feast is a beautiful reminder of the hope that awaits all who place their trust in God. Mary’s life was one of complete surrender, faith and love, from her humble “yes” at the Annunciation to her faithful presence at the foot of the Cross.

In our Maronite tradition, we honour the Mother of God with deep love and devotion, asking her to continue to intercede for our families, our parish and all those who seek her Son.

“My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Saviour.”

May Our Lady of the Assumption draw us ever closer to Christ and help us to live with the same courage, humility and faith that marked her life.

We truely have so much to be thankful for at Christ the Redeemer Maronite Parish - in 2016 we launched our Parish, and we celebrated our FIRST EVER CHRISTMAS MASS in the Hills, with over 800 people coming to celebrate with us, we filled out an entire basketball court.
