Join us on Sunday 29th March for the Feast of St Sidhom Bishay! Together we will gather to commemorate the patron and namesake of our church

This will be the first time we officially celebrate our church’s namesake feast together, and God willing, we hope it becomes an annual celebration for our community.

On the day, His Grace Bishop Daniel will be praying the Divine Liturgy with us. Following the Liturgy, there will be plenty of activities for the children, including crafts, waterslides and jumping castles, as well as a wide range of vegan food stalls for everyone to enjoy.

Join us for a special Church Fundraiser Dinner as our community comes together for an evening of community and gratitude

This night is dedicated to raising funds for the planned extension and renovation of our current church building. This vital project will allow us to better serve our growing congregation and provide a more suitable space for our families to come together before Christ. We plan for the renovations to take place before April so that we can all comfortably and conveniently enjoy our Passion Week together in the new space.

Enjoy a beautifully prepared dinner, warm company, and an atmosphere of unity as we work together toward strengthening our church home. Every ticket purchased and every contribution made on the night will go directly toward making this vision a reality.

𝘿𝙚𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙍𝙞𝙛𝙠𝙞 𝙂𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙡-𝙍𝙖𝙗

For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. But if I live on in the flesh, this will mean fruit from my labor; yet what I shall choose I cannot tell. For I am hard-pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better. ~ Philippians 1:21-23

Beloved husband to Amal Gadel-Rab, loving father to Lydia, and Caroline and her husband Samy. Devoted grandfather to Luke and Leah. Son-in law to Iskandara and the late Sobhy Soryal. Brother-in law to, the late Nagi Soryal, Hoda and her husband Adel Soliman, and uncle to Bishoy, Monica, Youstina and their families.

He had an unwavering devotion to God that permeated every aspect of his life and instilled this in his children and grandchildren. His faith was a guiding light, inspiring those around him with his profound love for Abba Pishoy and the Church.

The family will be receiving condolences on Monday evening at the Holy Apostles and St Abanoub at 6:30-8pm

The funeral will be held at the Holy Apostles and St Abanoub on Tuesday at 11:00am.

We ask you to pray for the family for God to give them comfort and peace in this difficult time.
