St Johns Anglican Church at Clarence Town turns 120 years old this Sunday the 16th of August, come along and help us celebrate! 10.30 service of Holy Communion followed by a celebratory lunch in the hall. Lots of old photos to look back on as we step into the future!

As part of the Mothers’ Union 150 year celebration, a baton containing letters from Bishop Peter Stuart and Newcastle Diocesan MU President, Elizabeth Bissaker, was brought from Taree to Christ Church Dungog by Reverend Nicole Baldwin, Chaplain for the Newcastle Diocesan Mothers’ Union. The letters were read out during a special service where nine new members were inducted into the Mothers’ Union. The baton was then passed on to Leonie Benson representing the Lone MU Members of the small churches in the Gloucester area. The baton continues its journey around the Diocese.

Christ Church Anglican Dungog celebrated Mothers Union’s 150th Anniversary on Tuesday with the induction of 9 new members!
We embraced the MU Theme “150 Ways in 150 Days” with our Baby Bundles Appeal for the John Hunter Hospital and our donation of clothing to the Newcastle Mission to Seafarers.
