The next step towards change always requires greater awareness. When you see our red bench, please pause to remember those who have suffered, or still suffering from violence in their home. Consider what actions you can take to support change.
We stand against all forms of violence and are proud to support the Red Bench initiative of Red Rose Foundation Australia
We thank our Mothers Union members who have led this project, and our friends at Drouin Mens Shed for their building skills. πŸ™

We are so pleased to hear this announcement! πŸŽ‰ Please read Bishop Richard's warm words of welcome.☺️

A message from +Richard regarding the announcement from the Anglican Communion Office that the Bishop of London - The Rt Revd and Rt Hon Dame Sarah Mullally, DBE - is to be the next Archbishop of Canterbury.

'I commend to you the text of the announcement below, and invite you to join with me in giving thanks to God for this significant appointment and praying for Bishop Sarah as she prepares to be installed as Archbishop of Canterbury in March next year.

Almighty God,
by your Son Jesus Christ you gave many excellent gifts to your apostles,
and commanded them to feed your flock:
bless your servant Sarah, now called to the office of Archbishop of Canterbury.
So fill her with your truth, and clothe her with holiness,
that as a shepherd of the Anglican Communion
she may diligently preach your word,
and rightly teach your people,
to the glory of your name, and the benefit of your Church.
We ask this in the name of the Good Shepherd,
even Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.'

We are very proud to have partnered with RSL Sub-Branch and Baw Baw Shire Council to complete this important WWI commemorative project in our town. We were honoured by Kurnai Elder Aunty Cheryl Drayton's Welcome To Country and Smoking Ceremony, and the generous words of Aldred MP and Ben Lucas who spoke alongside Drouin RSL President Rod McNab and Revd Dr Dean Spalding.
