For the next 10 days Dorrigo Seventh-day Adventist Church will be closed to attend the North NSW Seventh-day Adventist Conference "Big Camp."

This year, Dr Eric Walsh will be presenting in the Big Tent. Dr. Walsh is a native of Hartford Connecticut. He is a former faculty member at Loma Linda University in Family Medicine. His most important educational experience was at Oakwood University where he heard great preachers as he prepared for medical school. He went on to receive a medical degree from the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine, he completed a family medicine residency at the University of Alabama in Anniston, Alabama. This was followed by a Preventive Medicine/Public Health residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center. Dr. Walsh completed his Masters and Doctorate degrees in Public Health at the Loma Linda University School of Public Health. Currently, he is the medical director for Urgent Care and a Wound Care Clinic in Central California for a large medical group. As a highly sought after speaker, he has had the privilege to lecture and preach all over the world. Most importantly, Dr. Walsh seeks to continue to serve the Lord through his preaching and healing ministries. As a servant of the most high God, he finds great joy in healing others as well as praying with his patients.

Sabbath Service 21 March 2026 | Pastor Steven Teale

Dorrigo was blessed by the Macleay Valley Pathfinder & Adventurer Club for a weekend of fellowship, bird watching, and waterfalls. Never has the church been so full, and hosted almost 100 visitors including Pathfinders, Adventurers and families.

Pr Steve Teale gave a strong Sabbath message from the Desire of Ages, and church members were invited to join the Pathfinders & Adventurers for lunch following the service.

Now on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they, and certain other women with them, came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared. But they found the stone rolled away from the tomb.

Then they went in and did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. And it happened, as they were greatly perplexed about this, that behold, two men stood by them in shining garments.

Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, saying, ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.’ ”

An innovative media project from Austria offers a unique approach. FAITH—in a Nutshell is an initiative that distills core themes of the Christian faith into short, powerful visual sequences, people behind the project said. Developed by a dedicated team within the Seventh-day Adventist Church, the project reflects years of thoughtful effort in presenting our theological beliefs clearly and meaningfully, they added.

Faith Captured in a Moment

Each of the 28 fundamental beliefs of the Seventh-day Adventist Church has been encapsulated into a single moving image—a carefully crafted “moment” that is symbolic, aesthetic, and intentional. Water, light, movement, decay, touch: nothing is computer-generated or animated.

Every image was authentically filmed, using slow-motion techniques as a visual metaphor. This cinematic style brings invisible spiritual truths to life, encouraging reflection and deeper engagement with theological themes.

Now behold, there was a man named Joseph, a council member, a good and just man. He had not consented to their decision and deed. He was from Arimathea, a city of the Jews, who himself was also waiting for the kingdom of God. This man went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus.

Then he took it down, wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a tomb that was hewn out of the rock, where no one had ever lain before. That day was the Preparation, and the Sabbath drew near.

And the women who had come with Him from Galilee followed after, and they observed the tomb and how His body was laid. Then they returned and prepared spices and fragrant oils.

And they rested on the Sabbath according to the commandment.

Join us this Easter as we remember the sacrifice Jesus made for us all.

As Jesus rested in the tomb on the Sabbath (Luke 24:56) we rest and give glory to our Lord and Saviour for the atonement of our sins and the gift of eternal life after His Second Coming.

Dorrigo Adventist Church will host Communion during our Divine Service, where church attendees will be encouraged to wash one another's feet as Jesus washed the disciples, and partake of bread and juice of the vine as Jesus also instructed as a memorial of His great sacrifice (Luke 22 and John 13).

We remember the life of Christ, what He came to teach, who He was, and why we as a remnant people choose to serve Him above all else.
