We are excited to invite you to a very special event in the life of our church as we celebrate our 60th anniversary and the dedication of our newly completed building on Sunday, September 8.
Please note that our regular 10:30 am service will be brought forward to 10:00 am for this special occasion, and there will be no 9 am service, Mini- Edge or Junior-Edge. The service will be followed by a celebration concert, featuring music and performances that reflect the vibrant spirit of our church community. Please try to park outside of the main car park to leave space for guests.
In honour of this milestone, our monthly community lunch which is typically held on the first Sunday of the month will be moved to this Sunday.
We encourage you to invite your friends and past members who have been part of our church's journey and look forward to celebrating this special day with you!
Edit: Please note: Lunch will be catered for. Please let us know in advance if you are coming so that we can cater for you.

All the way from Uganda, East Africa, the Watoto Children’s Choir is performing songs from their brand-new album, “Better Days—There Is Hope”. Come join us on Saturday 24th August 2024 at 2pm for this vibrant celebration of God’s love. This is a free event, and all are welcome!

Why we celebrate Christmas!

Why do we celebrate the birth of Jesus at Christmas? What makes him so special? Why is history divided by his life into two eras; before and after Christ?

Jesus spent three years as a popular prophet, teacher and healer. He confronted the Jewish religious leaders, and called out their hypocrisy. Eventually they acted against him, and he was executed by the Roman governor, Pontius Pilate. But his disciples testified that he rose from the dead. This is the event that we celebrate at Easter, and that makes Jesus unique.

Today, many millions of people around the world worship Jesus as the Son of God, and find their lives changed for good as they commit to following him.

Jesus claimed that his teaching forms a foundation for a life that will withstand life’s storms and challenges. He offers acceptance, forgiveness, renewal and ‘rest for the soul.’

At Edge Community Church, we are a community of Christians who seek to follow his leadership, trust him for forgiveness, and grow as his disciples. We hope to serve our community in his name.
