Ignite Kids is the Sunday morning Kids Ministry of Devonport Church of Christ.

We teach kids about who God is and how to get to know him in fun, age appropriate ways.

It may be a long weekend, but this Sunday we are running a special Jonah event in Ignite Kids! 🐟

Come prepared to get a bit wet during our story and games. Bring a towel, and perhaps a change of clothes for after the service, in case you get thrown overboard! 🛟

We hope you have all had a fantastic summer break and enjoyed the school holidays! It's nearly time for school to go back, and that also means Ignite Kids is starting soon!

This Sunday we kick off with a program just for Kinder-Grade 2. Next week is Super Sunday, a full service length program from 10:30am. All our Ignite Kids families and leaders are also invited to stay for lunch!

Please RSVP to James by Wednesday 4th Feb, including any special diets.

This Sunday we are talking about a dynamic duo as we continue our Love League series.

We're already two weeks in to our Love League series!

We have heard about David and his super strength and leadership, and Moses and his amazing miracles! God gives us special gifts like David and Moses so that we can show love to others.

This Sunday we will be talking about a super-powered Bible character who had a little help from some ravens...

Last Sunday in Ignite Kids we talked about collage and kintsugi. There two kinds of art take old or broken things, and turn them into new, beautiful things. We learnt that we also become a new creation when we choose to follow Jesus! 🖌

Our last project from our 'Created' series is to take something old and turn it into something new! We're starting a new series this weekend, but there'll still be time to show what you've come up with, so bring your artwork (and your bibles!) along.

We had a great time on Sunday learning that just like clay, God continues to shape us into who He's created us to be! He has a good plan for our lives!

During our 'Created' series we will be sending home art projects for our kids to complete. God made us creative, and we can use art to connect with our Creator!
