The Salvation Army loved being part of the ABC Hobart Join-A-Thon yesterday!

It was fantastic to meet many of the volunteers helping turn donated knitted and crocheted squares into warm blankets for Tasmanians doing it tough.

Did you know the ABC has received squares and blankets from right across Australia? The map shows just how far this incredible generosity reaches.

Thank you to everyone helping bring warmth to Tasmanians experiencing hardship ❤️

Interested in helping join squares into blankets? Send us a message or contact our State Office on 6228 8400.

These pots, pans, utensils and other kitchen essentials will make a difference as people rebuild their lives and establish a new home.

If you’d like to put any unneeded credits to good use, you can donate these items at The Salvation Army Tasmania State Office, Monday to Friday, between 8:30am and 4:30pm.
