It was a beautiful Easter dawn in Darwin this morning. A new beginning full of hope and possibilities. As we considered what we might do with the Easter story? How we night share it with others? we sang ancient and modern songs, prayed, and share breakfast together with our friends and neighbours from our surrounds and Karama Indonesian Uniting Church. And it wouldn’t be Easter morning without a successful Easter 🪺 hunt. The peace of God in Christ be with you all.

As the light fades and the meal has ended on this Maundy Thursday, the tragic events of Good Friday are close.
Nightcliff Uniting Church invites you to join us at 10am tomorrow (Friday)for a service of readings and reflection, listening again to a story that changed the world forever, that is so important to many faith traditions and that offers a gift of life and love to all. Hope you can come. 🙏🏾

Palm Sunday - this Sunday!
• Meet at 8.30am at St Paul's Catholic Church for Blessing of the Palms
• 9am march to the pedestrian crossing on Trower Rd with peace placards
• 10am at NUC – prayers for peace and morning tea.

Holy Week
During Holy Week, Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday, the church will be open for prayer 4 – 6pm each day.

Easter Sunday
The service will again be a Dawn Service shared with the Uniting Church Indonesian Congregation. The venue is near the mouth of Rapid Creek, opposite the Beachfront
Hotel on Casuarina Drive, Rapid Creek. Starting time: 6.30am. Bring a chair, a hat, and insect repellant.

Along with our usual Sunday services we will be gathering at 10am on Christmas Day - please feel very welcome to join us in celebrating Jesus’ birth 🌟
