The weather's been warming up, and on Sunday our Student Minister Jacob took us on a spring snake hunt! 🐍

From the serpent in Genesis 3 to his final defeat in Revelation, we traced one big promise: Jesus is the promised Serpent Crusher.
"Jesus crushed evil to set you free.”

Our church also rejoiced as Jessica and Sebastian were Baptised! ✝

Last Sunday was a memorable morning at church! 🙌

Our 10am service came with a surprise power outage — but thankfully, it didn’t take the power away from God’s Word! We reflected on Genesis 10-11, the Tower of Babel.

We were also blessed to welcome the Archbishop of Angola and Mozambique, Vicente Msosa, and his wife, Anastansia, along with Anglican Aid. It was a wonderful opportunity to hear about the ways God is working through His people in Mozambique.

Following the service, Anglican Aid hosted a special lunch, giving us more time to hear stories, learn and ask questions.

A Sunday full of fellowship, encouragement and a reminder that God’s work continues — even when the lights go out! 🙏

On Sunday, we celebrated fathers and father figures.
Matt reminded us that we can find the true belonging we desire in becoming God’s child.

Believe + Receive = Become a Child of God. 💞

💙 Happy Father’s Day! 💙

Today, we give thanks for the fathers, grandfathers and father figures who love, guide, encourage, and care for their families.

Above all, we give thanks for our Heavenly Father — a Father whose love is perfect, whose presence is constant and whose arms are always open. 🙏

Even when earthly fathers fall short, we can rest in the unchanging love of our Father in Heaven. He knows us, cares for us, and calls us His own.

“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!” — 1 John 3:1

Is there still hope? 💔

On Sunday we saw in Genesis 4 how devastating the spread of sin is.

Yet sin does not have the final word.

Praise God that his merciful plan to save isn’t dependent on human goodness. “Even in a barren, cursed land, God produces green shoots of hope.” — Matt Goodman, Assistant Minister

Come celebrate Father's Day with us this Sunday @ 10 am! 💙

A special Sunday service where we will look at what the Bible says about being children of God and the hope and belonging that brings. Plus, did we mention free fresh cinnamon doughnuts? 🤤🍩

Whether church is familiar to you or completely new, we’d love to meet you!

Last Sunday, in Genesis chapter 3, we left the Garden. We saw doubt, denial and disobedience lead to sin. Yet we also saw God’s grace and the promise of redemption.

"Genesis 3 is one chapter among 1188 others and yet it is among the saddest; it is one of the most important for us to understand." - Mark Boyley, Senior Minister
