I was wanting to Go Live this morning on this my ministry page connected to my main account fb.com/Johnny.Grech but it's saying i need 100 followers to go live. So if you're a Christian and you would like to hear more about God and faith, the just shall live by faith the Word says, then please follow me on this page.
I have a strong faith in God and I have been living by faith for the last 10 years or so of my 28 year salvation walk. I went to bible college at Hillsong 27 years ago for 2 years I studied faith and was top of my class both years. That was without studying at all, I really never studied until many years later when I finally got some discipline. As with school, I was finished the end of year exams about 10-15 mins before the rest of the class. Anyway I digress, just I wasn't living it back then. It would get too hard and I'd give up and lose faith in God every time.
Skip forward 17 and I had been through so much, I'll share stories and testimonies when I get live. Long short I was going to die from addiction or go permanently insane. I once again fell on the Lord and surrendered my will and died to it and the world. I managed to get to Narcotics Anonymous and finally get clean off drugs. Yes, I was born again and addicted to drugs. I was initially delivered from addiction when I was born again but a few years later had a bad motor cross accident and ended up on pain medication, not really realizing they were drugs and I ended in a way worse addiction.
So I got stopped, fought the hardest fight of my life to date then, and stayed stopped. I picked up a bible again and started reading it. It was talking about God providing for the birds of the air and how much more important we are to Him and He knows we need food and clothing and shelter/ He knows what we need before we ask, so trust Him. I decided there and then, no food in the house at and no furniture, I was going to trust Him at His Word.
The next morning a guy from NA dropped over with 3 bags of groceries. I was cheerin, stoked, grateful and thankful, and more determined to stand on the promises of His provsion. I then learnt of Philipians 4:19 where God promises to provide all our needs. I started standing on that promise and studying His Word for a better understanding of faith, what it is, how it works, how to apply it and receive from God.
From then on I was living it, sowing and reping and standing on His promises, not giving up when it got too hard. The victory is ours, we just need to fight the fight, having done all to stand stand. When the promise manifests, we then have a greater testimony that gives God glory. I have plenty of testimonies, I've shared many and will share many more when I go live. I lived by faith like that for about 5 years, sending most of my pension to my wife and kids here in the Philippines.
Since covid and coming here to the Philippines, I've been living here the same way. I have no pension; the government cancelled my disability pension. I have no job, no savings, and a family of 12. So God has been providing for us here now almost 5 years. I did get some money a year and a half ago when my mum died, but that only lasted about 8 months.
