I had started using drugs about 4 years before. Id'd been in a rehab, mostly to get out of some trouble with the Police. Anyway i ended up in AA meetings as NA wasn't so available. I had received an AA big book, i was reading it in my room one night and a presence came into the room. I felt lighter and a cool breeze, a peace and love and warm fuzzy feeling. I knew it was God, i looked at the big b
ook and right where I was up to there was a small sun symbol on the page. I looked it up in the index or legend. It said "you are having a Spiritual experience. My second encounter was when I picked up my parents wedding Bible one night. It was a red letter edition and WHOA those Words were jumping of the page and hitting me in the heart. God spoke to me then and said without an audible voice, just a knowing, your like one of those in there. i didn't know what that meant at the time.
