Cowra Summer Breakout (CSB) is a program run in partnership with Cowra Baptist, Cowra Presbyterian and Cowra Anglican churches and a number of churches from Sydney over the January school holidays which has been running for almost 30 years. Location & Cost: Currently all CSB events in the week are held at the Cowra Baptist Church property, 2 Bourke St (except for a mid week teens event on Thursday

held at Cowra Presbyterian church, 48 Macquarie St). There is no cost to any of the events throughout the week, including events with food (all costs are covered by the churches). Kids & Teens:
CSB includes a daily program of games, songs and fun where the young people learn about Jesus with a different theme each year. Kids and teens are divided into 3 groups based on school years: K-2; 3-6 & 7-12. The program runs Monday - Friday 9:30am - 12pm, with a special trivia event held on Saturday night (with a movie for the kids) and performances by kids at the Sunday morning service. Adults & little ones:
Each day while the kids & teens program is running there is an opportunity for adults (young and old) to chat over freshly ground coffee and yummy morning tea at the ‘Coffee Corner’ held onsite, with some fun play for the pre-kindy kids too! There is also an (all in) Trivia Night on Saturday (5pm, includes dinner), a Ladies Craft night on Tuesday 7pm, and a Men’s Meat Night, Friday, 5pm

Overall Aim & Purpose:
It is the desire of all involved from the churches to bless the community of Cowra, to build authentic relationships with people and to share the good news of life to the full in Jesus. CSB has had an incredible impact on so many lives over so many years and we are so excited for another year! Dates for 2026:

Starting next Monday, 9 February, only for four weeks. A great way to continue some thinking you may have had at Breakout and a way to find out a little more. We'd love to join you for coffee, dessert and conversation. 7.30pm at Cowra Baptist Church.

What a week we're having! It's been so great to see so many people come and take part in our morning and evening activities so far this week.

It's not over yet though! Two more mornings for our main program for K-12 students, as well as Coffee Corner for everyone else. Then Thursday night has Games Night for our Jolt kids (7-12), Friday night is our Mens Meat Night and Saturday has brunch for Jolt and then Trivia Night for everyone.

If you haven't been able to make it to anything yet, it's not too late. Come and try it out, we'd love to see you.

Here's a taste of our Ladies Craft Night for Cowra Summer Breakout 2026. There will be lots of delicious dessert, great company and some beautiful art to be created. Tuesday, 13th January, 7pm at Cowra Baptist Church. This a free event, all welcome :)

We all survived the heat and had a fantastic first morning. Looking forward to the cooler day predicted tomorrow 😀

The team have arrived and are gearing up for tomorrow morning's kick off!

Concert time starts the day at 9:30am for all kids starting kindy this year, through to year 5, while the teens (those starting year 6 and above) will head straight to their groups.

You can register your kids when you arrive if you don't already have a form.

Anyone is welcome to stay for coffee corner, where there's also babies and preschooler play equipment. Or come throughout the morning for a quick cuppa and chat too 😀

We're all looking forward to seeing new and familiar faces! It is sure to be a great week 🎉🎉🎉

Remember, Breakout is not just for the kids. There's coffee corner each morning for any adults, with play equipment for the babies and preschoolers :)
