Meet Gordy!

Gordy completed the program in 2023, showing resilience and proving that no matter how far gone you think you are, with real commitment (the “give it all you’ve got” kind of commitment), you can live a better life!

When Gordy first came into the program, he was lost and broken. Trust didn’t come easy after a lifetime of broken promises and hurt. But Gordy knew his wounds wouldn’t heal without faith — so he placed his trust in God.

After completing the program, he stayed on as Resident Leader, mentoring and guiding other men on their own journeys. From there, he stepped up again, becoming Program Coordinator while earning his Certificate IV in Community Services.

These days, Gordy is studying his Diploma of Community Services and is about to step into the role of Program Director for our brand-new Orange NSW campus. 🙌

With this full transformation, Gordy is almost unrecognisable to anyone who knew him before recovery.

✨ What a powerful Sunday! ✨

Today, we celebrated the baptism of three incredible individuals who publicly declared their faith in Jesus. 🙌💧

Moments like these remind us that God is moving in our church — stirring hearts, transforming lives, and building His kingdom right here in our community.

We’re rejoicing with heaven and so excited for what’s ahead. Let’s keep praying, inviting, and believing for more! 💒🔥

In 2022–23, there were a staggering 134,776 drug-related hospitalisations in Australia, a stark reminder of the impact addiction has on our communities. Tasmania, in particular, faced the second-highest rate of alcohol and drug-related ambulance attendances that year. 🚑

These statistics show just how critical it is to address substance abuse and offer support to those struggling. The road to recovery is tough, but with the right help, it's possible to rebuild lives and create brighter futures. 💪💫
