"And nothing shall offend them" – this is how this verse ends! What a magnificent pair of statements – use of the colon pairs these 2 statements of fact together. This is number nine in the series The Case for Speaking in Tongues. In 1 Corinthians there is a verse in which Paul, the apostle, gives three reasons why he spoke in tongues in his everyday life, in fact he spoke in tongues more than them all, while in the church he would rather speak five words with this understanding than 10,000 words in an unknown tongue as long as it wasn't interpreted. He gives three reasons for speaking in an unknown tongue while his mind is unfruitful. This session number nine looks at these reasons.
