God is at work in Island Kids through his

WORD - in 1 Samuel 16:1-7 God sends Samuel out to anoint the new King. One Island Kid (10 years old) noticed that Samuel questions God about going, coz surely Saul will track Samuel down and kill him. Our Island Kids friend said "why was he scared. He was the prophet of God doing what God told him. He was going to be fine!!!!" Like- it's no big deal! Do you have the faith of our Island Kids??

SPIRIT - after we read that Samuel anointed David with oil to set him apart for God's purpose, and the Holy Spirit powerfully came on David from that day forward we offered our Island Kids the opportunity to also be anointed with oil, to be set apart for God's purpose and invite the Holy Spirit to powerfully come upon them. Many kids were anointed with oil, with one of our Island Kids (9 years old) friends sharing they saw a picture of the Holy Spirit all over their body, it was bright yellow, it made our friend feel all tingly. As our friend shared their experience they rejoiced through tears that "the Holy Spirit is on me, the Holy Spirit is on me!" They went from Island Kids and told everyone in the playground who would listen what would had happened - kind of sounds like the New Testament Church hey!

Our Holy God is alive and active in the lives of the kids that come along to Island Kids. What a privilege it is to witness what God is doing in their lives.
